DTF, or Direct-to-Film printing, is a custom apparel printing method where your design is printed onto a special transfer film and then applied to fabric using heat and pressure. DTF transfers are popular because they produce bright colors, fine details, and durable results on many types of garments.

A DTF transfer is a ready-to-press printed design. You receive the printed film, place it on your garment, press it with the correct heat, time, and pressure, peel the film as instructed, and finish with a short repress for a smooth, professional result.

DTF is more flexible for small batches, full-color artwork, and detailed designs. Unlike screen printing, it does not require separate screens for each color. Unlike vinyl, it can reproduce complex, full-color graphics. Unlike sublimation, DTF can work on cotton, polyester, blends, light garments, and dark garments.

A DTF gang sheet is a large sheet that includes multiple designs, logos, names, numbers, or artwork sizes on one film. It helps you use the print area more efficiently and reduce waste, especially when you need many small designs or multiple variations.

Yes. DTF Princeton offers local pickup once your order is ready. We also provide 24/7 contactless pickup, so customers can collect completed orders from the outdoor pickup box after production is complete.

The order cut-off time is 2:00 PM noon. Orders placed after 12:00 PM are processed the next business day. For urgent orders, we recommend submitting print-ready artwork as early as possible.
